Application areas for Phoenix Batch Scale App :
'Phoenix Batch Scale' App makes the weighing operation full-proof by making the exact data available right in your mobile phone. It hence minimizes the chances of mistakes and manipulations and provides a better control on operations. Some major areas where this app can be most suitable are listed below.
1. Production supervision - A production incharge can easily keep a track of every weighment done (during purchase, consumption, sale or any other process) throughout a particular shift or even in the whole day. The data received from the weighing scale contains date and time, weight and corresponding number of weighment. Accordingly, deductions can be made regarding the loss in time, accuracy or efficiency.
2. Iron Market - In places like iron markets where the weighing and loading of soled items is done at one place and its billing is done elsewhere, counting and verification may need to be done more than once. This is time consuming and error prone and can be highly simplified with the help of this app. The file containing exact weights can be transferred from the weighing scale to the operator's mobile phone. This record can be sent to the billing department in any convenient format immediately, where it can be further processed.
3. Crane Scale - Crane scales are used to weigh very heavy loads at a height that is not visible from the ground, hence usually remote controllers are provided for their operation. However, with this app, the user can not only send commands to the scale but also see the real time weighments being done. Moreover, the detailed list can be obtained at any time, wirelessly, increasing the convenience manifold.
4. Packaging - In packaging applications where wages are given based on weight and number of packets packed, this app can increase the transparency and efficiency to a great extent. Even if there are a number of scales, a supervisor can pair with each of them serially and obtain separate files corresponding to every person of every shift. The data can be sent in excel format too, for easy calculations.
