Phoenix has launched a person weighing scale with bluetooth and this scale comes with a free android app - 'Phoenix BMI App'. This app connects to the scale via Bluetooth technology and gets your weight. It calculates your BMI (Body Mass Index) and categorizes you as either underweight, normal, overweight or obese. The app also plots your health graphs depicting information in colorful pictorial formats, enabling you to monitor and track your health easily.
About the Phoenix PAS-160 Weighing Scale
This Person Scale (PAS-160 BT Scale) is available in 160kg Capacity and 100g accuracy.
User can easily stand on the Platform of the scale. (Platform size is 315X300mm).
It has Red LED Seven Segment Display. The Scale works on 2 AA Size cells (Pencil
Cells) and AC Adaptor. The
scale is made up of sturdy MS Body.
It is very easy to connect the android app to this weighing scale via bluetooth. You just need to add your basic info in the app like name, age, gender and height. Then simply stand on the weighing scale and your mobile app gets your current and accurate weight form Phoenix weighing scale. Based on your weight, the app calculates your BMI. BMI stands for
‘Body Mass Index’ and is an international health standard, derived from the weight
and height of a person. Based on your BMI values, the app categorizes you as either underweight, normal, overweight or obese. The app also plots your health graphs depicting information
in colorful pictorial formats, enabling you to monitor and track your health easily. It also shows your 'Target weight range'.
You can add up to 6 users in the app and monitor every family member’s health on your mobile phone. You can also set periodic reminders in the app to check your weight. The app notifies you when your health-check date is due. The app also maintains detailed records of every user's health. Moreover, you can share your health records in pictorial as well as text formats, with your physician, dietician, family or friends whenever required, via various apps like Whatsapp, ShareIt, Facebook etc.
