Our APP simulates the complete front panel, that includes the display and keyboard, of Phoenix Scale on your mobile screen. About our APP :

Phoenix Weighing Scale APP connects to any compatible Phoenix scale via Bluetooth. On pairing, you can see the real-time display of the scale on your mobile screen. Using this APP, you can also operate the keyboard of the Phoenix weighing scale through your mobile phone. All these operations can be done remotely over a distance of 20-40 feet! This APP hence works as a remote controller as well as a remote display for your weighing scale. It works on BLE bluetooth technology that consumes very low power. Our APP also provides easy selection of the desired device from a list of available Phoenix scales. Phoenix Weighing Scale APP is available for free on the Playstore (search for 'Phoenix Weighing Scale') and is compatible with Android version 4.4 (Kitkat) and above.

Using the APP :

Step 1 : Get a compatible Phoenix scale and download the app from Playstore. On the Playstore, search for 'Phoenix Weighing Scale'. You can also download it from :

The APP works on Android version 4.4 (Kitkat) and above.

Step 2 : Put on your Phoenix Weighing Scale.

Step 3 : Start your Phoenix APP. It asks for permission to turn on bluetooth. Allow it by clicking on 'YES'.

Step 4 : Your APP's home screen looks as below. Now click on the yellow image bar to begin scanning for available Phoenix Scales.

Step 5 :  When the scanning is completed, the APP shows you a list of available Phoenix devices along with their unique stamping number. This way, you can identify which Phoenix Scale you want to pair with. Click on the Phoenix Scale you want to connect to.

Step 6 :  Now your mobile screen looks as below. It shows the Phoenix scale number to which you are connected. The live weight on that scale can be viewed and the keys of the scale can be controlled right from your mobile phone!

Step 7 : At any time, you can disconnect by going 'Back'. The APP again looks for available scales for you! 

Scanning for devices

Key Functions : 

1. ZERO key : This key is used to zero the display.

2. TARE key : This key is used to tare the weight of empty container/box/vessel. Tare function simplifies filling operations. It can also be used in weigh check operations to indicate a deviation with respect to a reference weight. 

3. M+ key : This key is used for memory writing and recall operations.

4. MODE key : This key is used to select the mode of operation on the scale - WEIGHT or COUNT mode. Default mode is WEIGHT mode wherein the scale and the APP display the weight of the object placed on the scale. In COUNT mode, the user is supposed to place certain amount of samples on the scale and select the appropriate range. Once it has been set, the scale and the APP will count and display the number of samples kept on the scale. The COUNT mode is very useful in packaging of small items like screws, nuts, etc.

5. SMPL key : This key is used in the COUNT mode to select the number of samples placed on the scale for unit reference.

6. PRINT key : This key is used to print the data via a thermal printer or to transfer the same on a PC software.

The LED indications on the scale are also visible in the APP. These LED indications are:

TARE - signifies that the weight shown is tared weight.

COUNT - signifies that COUNT mode is ON. 

BATT - signifies that the scale is running on battery.

AC ON - signifies that the scale is running on AC supply.

ZERO.

Application areas for our APP : 

Phoenix weighing scale with Android APP makes operating the scale much more convenient. Some major application areas are:

1. Industrial applications -  Phoenix APP can be used as a very convenient tool for supervision and operation of weighing scales in industrial warehouses (for example - iron merchants). A supervisor with this APP installed in his/her mobile phone can comfortably use TARE, MEMORY and other functions, which the labourers may not be able to use. Convenient handling of weighing operations can be done from a distance along with a proper check.

2. Market committee yards - Phoenix APP is very much suitable in market committee yards when auctions are held and the weights need to be stored and maintained. In such places, multiple scales are present and each of them can be monitored and the records can be maintained remotely.

3. Weigh bridge - Weigh bridges are used to weigh loaded trucks and other heavy vehicles for transportation purposes. In such places, the weight can be seen directly on the mobile screen upto a distance of about 20-40 feet from the location of the weigh bridge. This makes the further procedures much more convenient as the user gets the ease of a remote control and display.

1. What is the range of bluetooth communication for this APP?

Ans - The open air range is about 30-40 feet. With walls, the range is about 20 feet. 

2. How can I select a particular scale from multiple scales?

Ans - The APP shows a list of available Phoenix scales along with the 'STAMPING NUMBER'. This number is unique and is present on the stamping plate fixed at the bottom of the scale.

3. How do incoming calls or other interrupts affect the working of the APP?

Ans - They do not. The APP continues to function from where you left off once you return to it.

4. If my Phoenix scale is paired with my APP, can another mobile phone with the APP connect to it?

Ans - No. Only one APP can be paired with one scale at a time. This prevents confusion while operating the scale remotely. If you want to pair the scale with the APP on another mobile phone, first disconnect the current pairing and then scan for Phoenix scales on the other phone.

5. Is any data stored in the phone memory?

Ans - No. All data is stored in the weighing scale's internal memory. It can be viewed on the APP.

6. How do I install the APP on my mobile phone?
